NFC Homes built out this scheme of 14 PassivHaus units which was completed in May 2017. The Passivhaus standard was developed
in Germany in the early 1990s, and is one of the fastest growing energy performance standards in the world. The main strengths of a Passivhaus building are:

These factors, with features including triple glazed windows and doors, minimise the heating demand of the building, ensuring energy bills are kept low throughout the year. The second phase of the development completed in 2019.
